Appa the Corgi
This is Appa’s “I didn’t do it…honest” face. Except that he did do it 100% of the time. Just another Jedi mind trick from his repertoire of cuteness.

Mom and dad miscommunicated about who was taking care of Appa Friday so he was left alone longer than expected. Mom felt guilty when she got home and bought Appa new toys wet food and treats. Then she made him steak for dinner. He loved it and dad was wondering where his steak dinner was.

Appa, the Santa killer. I have no idea how he ripped off Santa’s mouth perfectly but saw the aftermath with Santa stuffing scattered in the living room.

This is appa’s “mom didn’t I tell you I hate cuddling 99% of the time?!?” face. It is accompanied by a whiny roaring noise, kinda like “rehhhhhrrr”

Appa the notorious pillow thief.

This is Appa’s evil eye. He gave me this face when I asked where daddy was and daddy wasn’t in the hallway.

Sometimes, he raises the eyebrow when he’s lying down, like when I ask him to do something. Then he looks away. I call that version his skeptical look.

Other times he looks at me like that for no reason. I call it his “can you smell what the rock is cooking” face.

April showers bring muddy bottoms. Even buying protective gear isn’t keeping Appa dry when he plops down like this.

Also, does anyone else’s dog refuse to poop when there are rainstorms? It took 20 min to coax him to do #1 and he ran back inside right after. He also stopped midpoop and jumped during a thunderclap yesterday.

Appa is tired from a long day of basketball. Or just wearing his jersey and interrupting mom’s studying. Either way I’m sure he wouldn’t appreciate icetubbing. He already misses watching Kobe play.
